Kumamoto Reconstruction Project x ONE PIECE" ④. Minamiaso Village This area is to be turned into a post-earthquake site to show the damage caused by the earthquake to the future generations. The Tokai University campus was reinforced and preserved as it was at the time of the earthquake, including new faults and cracks that were created by the earthquake, and school buildings that were damaged by the extension of the cracks, so that visitors could see them. Nearby is the Aso Ohashi Bridge, which has been frequently mentioned in news reports. The Aso Ohashi Bridge, which collapsed, has not been removed and remains as it was when the bridge was built on the slope, fixed and reinforced. On the other side of the river, there is a parking lot from where you can see the collapsed Aso Ohashi Bridge and know the threat of the earthquake. There were people who lost their lives when the bridge collapsed, and it was presented as if it were a tourist attraction... It makes you think about it, even though it's a relic of the earthquake. If I ever visit there again, I'd like to offer a flower. One Piece Statue is located in the campus of Tokai University. The two arms extending from the pedestal seem to be calling for help from the ground... Robin in the center looks like a goddess. Hananoka Brewery Kikka The lightest and most refreshing sake in the Hana-no-Kou lineup, perfect for this season! It's great for the local area, but if you're ever in Kumamoto, be sure to try it as a souvenir or at a restaurant!

Maa.
Hello, honda! You remind me that we are so helpless in front of nature. It makes me think a lot.

HONDA, you are really scary, and the fact that you leave it as it is is also awesome. I'm a bear in the woods myself and will support you 📣.

Hi, honda 😃 Nature is far beyond our expectations, so I think it makes sense to preserve the site to keep the memory of the disaster alive, but it is certainly complicated... I think it also makes sense to have the statue of Robin here.

Hi, honda-san. I went to Shin-Aso Ohashi Bridge for the first time after the earthquake in GW. There were still traces of the earthquake, and it reminded me of the fear I felt at the time of the quake. I hope that countermeasures will be taken to prevent further damage.

Hi honda ☀️ I was surprised to learn that this is the way it was left behind. It's true, you can't tell unless it's intact, right? It is complicated.... I have accepted the importance of not forgetting and conveying the message.

Yucachin, I thought you might have planted something somewhere too 🤣. I can't keep up with the dramatic change from last time🤣.

Maa. Thank you for your comment even though it was surreal first thing in the morning! The fury of nature has taken its toll on me. It's going to get hot from now on, so please take care of yourself, Maa!

Harry sake boy, thank you for your support of Morikuma🙇. I hope the donations are going to the place where they are really needed.

Haruei Chichi, I saw a silly old man taking a photo of his face with the collapsed bridge in the background on this day. I wonder what the bereaved families think when they see this situation. I wonder what the remains of the disaster are.
Japanese>English
honda
Jay & Nobby, I went to see Robin with a light heart. I thought the family might not want to see a collapsed bridge. I have children close to her age, so I have mixed feelings about this.

honda
tomo, on the way to Tokai University, I crossed the Shin-Aso Ohashi Bridge and was surprised to see the traces of the cliff collapse still remained. We should learn about the remains of the earthquake and learn from them.

Good evening 😃 There are earthquake remains of a bridge that collapsed almost 20 years ago here in my hometown too 🤔. I really hate earthquakes regardless of the scale 😭 I was wondering if the scent of flowers is still there⁉️. I thought it was only in Kumamoto prefecture now 😅.

MAJ
Good evening, honda! 😄 I didn't know there were any earthquake remains in Aso! I understand the meaning of leaving them behind, but it sure is complicated to see. 😅I made zenkichi the other day, so next time I would like to bring back the scent of flowers 😋.

Pon-chan, there are many facilities in Kyushu that should serve as a lesson for us, such as Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, Mt. Unzen Disaster Memorial Hall, Tachiarai Peace Memorial Hall, Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots, etc. I hope these facilities will not fade away and will be handed down from generation to generation.

Yukachin I don't have a heart strong enough to put one click in this review 😂.

Manachy, next time I'll adjust the swing to be exactly in the middle 😂.

I hope there won't be any more earthquake remains in Japan.

MAJ, I didn't know that it was still preserved as a relic of the earthquake 💧. I haven't been able to buy Zenkichi yet because it's been closed on Sundays lately. I'm hoping to go there today or next week because there's a lottery going on 😊.

Good morning, honda 😃. I can feel the horror of the earthquake. It could have happened anytime but we forget about it in our daily life😅. Thank you for reaffirming this.

honda
Rafa papa, the scary thing is that we don't know when or where the earthquake will happen.
