I am not sure because I have not had many kijoshu, but I think it is one of the sweetest kijoshu. It also has a bit of sourness, and the sensation is similar to drinking ume (plum) wine. Since the sake itself has a strong claim (sweetness), it might be better to have a lighter version if you are going to prepare a snack. It's almost good without it. The frozen edamame with olive oil was good. I would like to buy it if they make it again this year.
