Yamaichi is a little far from the center of Matsue City, but it is a popular restaurant that is full to capacity from early in the day. No matter what you order, cold, room temperature, or warmed sake, you will be served "Toyo no Aki". For cold sake, you have a choice between "dry" and "fluffy and full-bodied," and if you choose the rice flavor, you automatically get this one.
Sake goes down smoothly with the first taste of "Kame no Te" and "Morogebi Sobaeri".
After that, "hot sake and oden" also went well together. ‼️ Was it Toyono-Aki's Honjozo sake that was set in the commercial heater? I was too far away to check, but it was a heated sake that I never got tired of drinking. Matsue's izakaya is delicious ‼️ Thank you for the food!
