When I was in Yamaguchi a while ago, I had dinner with some customers and one of them said to me, "I see you like Japanese sake. Please let me know your home address so I can give you some of the sake I've been involved with." I was so taken by the allure of sake that I gave him my address and this is what I received 😳.
I often have this on the izakaya shinkansen on my way home from Yamaguchi? It's from the Sandesi Toyo Bijin series! And it's a very expensive one 😱 polished up to 30% Yamadanishiki from Hagi!
It says "Sumikawa Shuzo, the best of all time" 🤩.
I'm going to go ahead and check in 700 for this one! I thought it was for New Year's 🥳.
