Three-day weekend goes by fast. I went out with my wife only on Saturday. In the evening, we had dinner at our favorite local Italian restaurant. The food was as delicious and blissful as ever, but it was a pity that sake was no longer on the menu! I always make a long story in the introduction, but here is what we had during the three-day weekend! This was our first visit to the brewery. Uguisu (Japanese bush warbler) in the garden of Yamaguchi Sake Brewery This time it was a hanabikari Now, let's have it right away. The first day First, the aroma. It has a refreshing aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel its freshness and umami, and it also has a slightly complex flavor and a moderate sweetness. It stimulates various taste buds in a refreshing way. The aftertaste is soft bitterness and minerality. It is very easy to drink and refreshing, but the complexity gives the impression of being very satisfying. The second day The first impression is a full-bodied flavor and freshness. Today, the sweetness is just a little bit lighter and the spiciness is a little bit more pronounced. The impression is that the umami is strong even though it is still refreshing. The lingering aftertaste shifts gradually to bitterness, and the balance is good. When drinking it with a meal, the sweetness and umami can be felt well, and it is a delicious sake as a mealtime drink! Every time I drink this sake, I think that there are so many unknown delicious sakes, and it's blissful!

Good evening, ma-ki-chan. ☺️ I guess the fact that it is no longer on the menu is because not many people drink it...sad 🥲. I found a place nearby where you can drink Uguisu, I'd like to drink it next time and contribute to sake 😋✨.

Good evening ma-ki-😃. It's sad to see sake disappear from the menu, even though it's Italian 😢. It's one of the best things about sake that we can enjoy the encounter with unknown good sake 🤗.

Thank you Kano! It looks like they have renewed their menu a lot and I felt sad that they no longer have sake 😅. My first time at Uguisu in the garden, it was really good and I'd like to drink the standard one too 😋.

Thank you very much, Afio. Yes, I know. I was thinking of pairing it with sake, so I missed it a lot 😅. I will continue to search for more sake even though the amount I can drink is really limited 🤗.

Good morning, ma-ki-san ☀☀☀☀☀. It's a pity that cheese goes well with sake... 😢 I like your first Uguisu-san 😋. The brewery here also has a good doburoku, so if you have a chance to visit in the future, please do ✨.

Hi ma-ki-😃 I haven't been to Italian 🇮🇹 for a meal out or anything 🤔The only place I've been to was Saizeria 😅. We bought some Uguisu in the garden as a souvenir from Fukuoka before, but we didn't drink it ourselves 😅.

Thank you, Nao888! Yes 😅I was going to get sake so I was like 💦. The first Uguisu-san was less sweet but refreshing, and I certainly felt it was well-balanced 😋.

Thank you, Chirsta! It's a shame, because I could have enjoyed a pair of sake at an Italian restaurant 😅 I see that Uguisu-san's brewery also has doburoku 😲. I recently made my doburoku debut and would love to try it 🤤.

Good evening, ma-ki-san 🌛. I envy you having dinner at a nice Italian restaurant on a three-day weekend, but I am sad to hear that they no longer serve sake 😓. I'd like to try it at home, as I've only had "Uguisu in the garden" at a restaurant.

Thank you, Gyve! It was a blissful time for me and my husband to enjoy our favorite Italian food 😋. It's been a long time since we had sake, but we enjoyed the wine more than the sake 🍷. If you have a chance, please come to our house for drinking 🤗.
