The other day I was caught up in the Aichi Gifu stamp rally and visited the Matsuiya Sake Brewery Museum to get a stamp. There were only two of us in the museum, myself and my wife, and a person who seemed to be the director of the museum attended to us and explained to us the process of making sake from the olden days in great detail. It was a great learning experience for us as we had never heard of it before. At the end of the tour, I asked them what kind of sake they liked to drink, and they recommended this sake, so I bought it. It tasted like old-fashioned sake, but it was sweeter and easier to drink than I expected. 1200 yen
