I received a limited edition sake from Kitashika. It is a limited edition sake, but I have seen it in supermarkets before, but I thought it was just a summer limited edition. The description is deceptive.
The first sip after opening the bottle.
It tends to have a refreshing taste, but something doesn't feel right. The label says that it contains sugar and acidifiers. The sugar is used to cover up the smell and the acidity is used to make it taste fresh.
But most people who buy it at the supermarket probably don't care about that.
However, what I can say is that it is much easier to drink than other alcohol containing sugar and acidifiers. Is that the research power of a major company?
The "Kita Akita" brand is an average well-balanced sake, but "Suzushina" may not be my next choice.
