Hirai Rokemon Shinboshi Shinboshi is a Junmai Ginjo-shu with a dignified upward aroma reminiscent of melons and strawberries, and a fresh fruit aroma. It is made from Gin Otome, a sake rice produced in Iwate Prefecture, and is carefully fermented at low temperatures using a blend of yeasts. The original 14% alcohol content sake is bottled after being heated to create a smooth drinking experience.
This sake should be served chilled. The sake has enough flavor on its own, but it goes well with dishes that have a simple salt-based seasoning.
