Pale yellow. Pear-like aroma. Refreshing in the mouth, it goes down the throat smoothly, and the aftertaste disappears quickly. It does not have the heavy weight characteristic of junmai, and is easy to drink like an aperitif. It seems to go well not only with Japanese food but also with Western food.
