フリーター一代男I had already tried Shu-ryori, a special junmai and its nama sake distributed only in Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture, but I wanted to try the seasonal light nigori, so I made a trip to Bando City for the first time in a year and a half to purchase it. I could have bought it by mail order, but I wanted to buy it locally, and I also wanted to try the original Japanese confectionery "suzuki karinto man" because it is a sacred place for a certain manga.
I had an image of Shu-ryoku as a slightly classic sweet and tasty sake like Raifuku, and when I drank this one with that in mind, I found it to be a modern nigorizake with a moderate sweetness and a sour umami flavor. (It's also available by mail order)...
I'm not sure if I've updated my image of Raifuku, so I'll see what I can do about that 🤔. フリーター一代男This was my fourth visit to Bando City for the last day of a manga collaboration event. Since I would not be coming back for a while after this, I decided to buy Shurei, and this time I bought the unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. I also toured the remaining facilities of the Otsuka Sake Brewery, which I had passed over the last time I was here. Looking at the labels that are no longer available to the public, I felt a little sad.
It is a fresh version of the Shu-green I bought before, with sweetness and umami, and a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. It reminds me of Raifuku, so I would like to go buy some more to check it out.
