おっsection of the Nakasendo
Slightly effervescent. Delicious with a refreshing sweetness and fruitiness. The taste is firm even when the temperature rises. The label seems to change with the seasons.
At Sake Brewery YUKAWA. A bar attached to a sake brewery. Ladder from Masumi.
A place where you can drink sake while chatting directly with Kuroemon XVI. He said he was thinking of assuming the name, but decided not to because of the difficulties involved in registering his family name and so on. It's a male name.
The sake brewery has won many awards in the prefecture, nationally, and internationally, but it was worth going for a drink to feel close to the side of the family business that they are working hard on.
Today was the first anniversary of the bar's opening, and I won a small bottle of sake in a raffle. I was so happy. おっtrifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata)
Good aroma like green apple. Dry and refreshing. Tongue tingling after a while. When paired with a meal, it refreshes the palate and is pleasant. Good.
Limited edition for Kiso-Village. Made with local ingredients. Purchased at Sake Brewery YUKAWA, a sake brewery and bar (and home) that opened last week.
I had a chance to talk with the president. He said that he had not originally planned to open a store, but after some circumstances, he decided to do so.
Yabuhara was originally a post town along the Nakasendo Highway and has a nice atmosphere. The streets are narrow, so it is fun to stroll around on foot.
Before, you could shop only on weekdays at the office past the warehouse. Now they are open on Saturdays, which makes me happy.
But it was also fun to shop while having a casual conversation next to the labels being pasted on. おっsection of the Nakasendo
Apple aroma. Slightly effervescent. Slightly sweet. Moderately acidic and refreshing with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Well-integrated.
Purchased at a sake brewery. The parking lot is difficult to find. The entrance is difficult to find. The sales floor is located at the end of a warehouse and is a mess of offices. One of the most difficult breweries I've ever been to. I like it.
According to the brewer, it is a junmai ginjo made from the same Miyamanishiki as the one that won an IWC award. The other one is a sake brewed in the traditional way and this one is a fast brewer. I asked the liquor store if they had any more of that one, but they told me that it was sold out immediately and was priced at a very celebratory price, so I gave up and toasted with this one.
