Yesterday was the night of the June full moon [strawberry moon], but unfortunately it rained and the moon was not visible.
Instead, the night before, we enjoyed watching the moon from our bedroom while lying down with the whole family just in time to see the full moon 😁.
This year, the full moon coincided with my second daughter's birthday, so we celebrated with my family 🎉.
She has been singing her favorite song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Twinkle Star" to celebrate her growth and to celebrate her birthday with a glass of this 🍶.

Again, we changed the sake cups to compare the different types of sake.

The aroma of plump and sweet rice, the slight carbonation on the tip of the tongue, and the clean, full sweetness and refreshing acidity that finishes with a juicy, sweet, and pleasant aftertaste.

Aroma of full-bodied rice reminiscent of sweetness, slight carbonation on the palate, and a refreshing sweetness that spreads through the mouth while passing down the throat smoothly, followed by a refreshing acidity that finishes with a refreshing sweet aftertaste.
While the sweetness is calm, which is typical of kijo-zake, the refreshing acidity is in a strange balance, contrary to the image, and the ups and downs of the flavor are thin and the tranquil aftertaste is pleasant.
The sashimi of Japanese common squid and horse mackerel are served as the main course.
The lack of moonlight is compensated for with a red seal from Tsukiyomi Shrine.
