Chosen by the wife at a liquor store near her parents' house.
It is a pink nigori sake made with rare red yeast. I wanted to drink it outside during the cherry blossom season.
The color of the sake is pink, so it looks sweet from the outside. The fruity, refreshing sweetness and slight carbonation make it drinkable like a sweet juice, just as it looks. The mouthfeel is clean and refreshing due to the slight carbonation. I served it with mushrooms and sausage roast, but nothing fancy. Spicy people may not like it. Before the fizz wore off, we had a whole four-pack in one night as a couple.
