This is a junmai sake that can be drunk crisply in summer, so here it is in its refreshing guise. It won first place at last year's Kura Master in France.
The rice is polished to 60% Dewa Sanzu from Yamagata Prefecture, and the alcohol content is a low 14%. It has a good acidity and sharpness. If it is cost-effective, can you enjoy it without thinking about this or that? No, you can drink it in large gulps.
It is known to go well with fried horse mackerel and French fries, so we had it with mashed potatoes and sautéed salmon with butter flavor.
Because of the delicious rice flavor, I change the glass to a bigger one. The aroma is enhanced. It's a good time of year for cold sake!
