A gift from a relative. It is written "morning" and reads "asatsu" in Japanese. It is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake, so it has a strong flavor and a nice lingering aftertaste. Personally, it was quite a hit.

It is written "morning" and reads "asatsu". This bottle was a souvenir from a trip to Mie Prefecture. He chose it after asking the liquor store for recommendations, which were mainly distributed within the prefecture. It was certainly a sake I had never seen before. I think Saku is the most popular sake for souvenirs in Mie (both in terms of taste and supply), but this time he chose a sake other than Saku. I am looking forward to it. The aroma is a gorgeous ginjo aroma. The taste is sweet, but lighter than expected. The bitterness is also light, but not unpleasant. The lightness of the mouthfeel was surprising, but it was drinkable at a fast pace despite the normal alcohol content. I had some smoked yellowtail "aburi" (a Mie souvenir) as a snack, and it went surprisingly well with the sweetness. I thought it might not go well with a strong ginjo aroma, but the lighter flavor went well with the snack.
