The name seems to come from the malolactic fermentation used in winemaking.
The aroma is sweet and sour apple, and the taste is a great balance of fresh juicy green apple and full-bodied black grape-like bitterness 😋😋😋😋😋 It can be served either with food or alone, but I would rather enjoy it alone: ☺️
