WOMThis product is brewed with sake rice produced in Kotani Village, Nagano Prefecture. It was a souvenir from my son, and was sold only at a roadside station. I was not so sure about an easy limited edition, but this is delicious. Perhaps it is because of its proximity to Hokushin and Niigata, or perhaps it is just my imagination, but it is a very light sake. I was impressed by the subtle ginjo aroma and the crisp and tight taste.

On the border of Nagano and Niigata, lies the village of Otani in Kita-Azumi-gun. From ancient times, men set out to make sake to earn foreign currency. The hardships they endured can be remembered as there is not much land to cultivate and it snows so much that it buries the houses.
It has a strong fruity aroma and is fresh on the palate, with a slight chilliness. However, I felt a strong alcohol taste afterward, so I enjoyed drinking it in small sips.
Kotani Village has no shortage of wild vegetables such as kogomi, royal fern, and udo depending on the season, so you can enjoy it even more with these as a side dish! RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
