Every year at this time, I look for the snowman label. This is Izumibashi's "Wintering Dragonfly Eggs and Snowman Label. Please look carefully at the label to find the dragonfly eggs.
This is the first new sake of the year. The taste is pleasant with a pleasant acidity and a clear umami flavor that easily fits in the throat. I tasted it cold, but the brewer recommends heating it up to lukewarm, so I may try that as well.
I enjoy sake all year round, but the coming season is my favorite, with new sake and heated sake. This bottle is perfect for the beginning of the season. Delicious ‼️
