I took a half day off to have a drink at Tsukiji. We had our 9th drink at "Tsukiji Kaku-uchi Tabitebako". Did I drink? No, I have my notes, so I must have. I remember talking passionately about Omachi to my friend who was drinking with me... Miroku Junmai Ginjo Omachi Hiyoshi Aroma: Clear and refreshing (← everything is clear when you're drunk) Mouthfeel: Mellow (or so I thought) Medium: Umami (this is the only thing I remember). Aftertaste: sharp and dry (or was it?) The label was hard to read, so I remember going back and forth to the fridge a lot.

Miroku Junmai Ginjo Hi-iri This is one of the four sakes I bought at Shusendo Katoh. When I tasted it at the store, I thought it was a bit "refreshing" for me, but when I opened it at home, the flavor was different again. The entrance was rather firm, with a fruity and spicy taste and a clean aftertaste. It was delicious. ★★★★☆
