The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival (15) Eikawa] booth. The name "Sakaegawa" is written as "Sakaegawa. There are two Eikawa breweries in Fukushima Prefecture with the same name and the same kanji, and they are apparently not related or unrelated. They seem to have a much longer history than the Eikawa Brewery in Aizu Ryugasawa. It seems that there are many breweries in Fukushima Prefecture that share the same name, such as Toyokuni and Otokoyama. ◉Hashigo-zake I asked for a standard sake, and this is what I got. A classic honjozo with a slight sweetness that lingers in the mouth. ◉Mine Sweet to clear, with a slight spiciness in the aftertaste. Clear and sweet impression. ◉ Eigen Junmai Ginjo The sweetness feels a bit sugary. It has a unique lingering aftertaste from the umami. Junmai Daiginjo A very clear and unforgettable sake. Junmai Daiginjo Degahara Washi Label The clear mouthfeel is followed by a sequence of umami and sweetness. The taste is a little bit sweet.

Good morning, Nemuchi-san. Last year, Eisen was here, so I totally thought it was that one 💦 Maybe they called Hankyu by mistake too? 🤣

The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival (15) I always thought it was "Eisen", but when I saw "Sakaegawa" written on the front hanging and asked about it, I found out it was Egawa Sake Brewery, which is completely unrelated to Aizu Ryugasawa's Egawa Sake Brewery (💦 complicated). I was just mistaken... Aizu has two Toyokuni breweries and too many breweries with the same name. There's also Kaito Otokoyama and Aizu Otokoyama... So this is the second brewery I've seen for the first time😅 I drank Hashigozake Honjozo I think this was the one I asked for a recommendation. Quite a classic sake. A little bitter. Eigen Junmai Ginjo I think it was quite fruity. Junmai Daiginjo It was quite refreshing. Junmai Daiginjo Degahara Washi label It was sweeter than the previous junmai daiginjo. Junmai Daiginjo This also tasted sweet and beautiful. Overall, it was not outstanding and may not leave a strong impression.

bouken, you are the sake brewer in Nishiaizu, right? I also wondered why Eikawa Brewery is located in Nishidaizu when I went touring before😇.

Manachie, I was confused when I saw that it says Sakaegawa😇When I search for it, I have to put in Nishiaizu or all I get is Eisen, which is a hassle 🤣.
