On the way home from a business trip, I drank a bottle without the energy to open a pub in the crowded Shinkansen.
Nigori White, a sparkling "Kakushiaji" with sake.
It is a sparkling liqueur with 3% alcohol by volume, made with junmai nigori sake from the Shotoku Shuzo brewery in Kyoto.
It is manufactured by Oenon Product Support in Hyogo.
Kakushiaji is available in two varieties, the other being a "fluffy mint" made with Junmai sake from Asakai in Iwate Prefecture.
The other is "Funwari Mint," made with pure rice sake from Asakai in Iwate Prefecture.

I couldn't check the appearance because I didn't have a glass 😌.
The aroma is sweet and refreshing, like a lactobacillus drink.
It also has a rummy feel.
⚪︎Taste, etc. ⚪︎
The first touch of the drink is exactly what it sounds like, a calpis sour.
It is a schwashy lactic acid bacteria beverage type sour.
Finally, in the mid-part of the drink, one can slightly taste the rice flavor of nigori sake and the flavor of the tailings.
By the time it kicks in with the carbonation, the initial lactobacillus drink-type sweetness has receded considerably, and if you look for it, you can even detect a slight bitterness that seems to be nigori.
The aftertaste is short, with residues of sweet nigori sake.
It is quite an interesting drink, although to be honest, the sake feeling is quite diluted.
The amount of sake used is unknown, but as the product name "Kakushiaji" suggests, sake seems to be only a hidden flavor 🍶.
