I stayed at the Auberge Kankyu-en of the Kuroryu Sake Brewery. So I drank some good sake, and I will record it here.
There is a place called ESHIKOTO, which is like a town created by the Kuroryu Sake Brewery, and I had a meal with Echizen crab at a Japanese restaurant there.
The first drink was ESHIKOTO's AWA
It was paired with an appetizer of steamed shirako mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms in a yuzu kama-mushi (steamed in a yuzu pot). The sake was very strong and assertive.
