The sake is made by Takagaki Shuzo, who is known for "Ryujinmaru". Ryujinmaru was featured in the "Moyashimon" manga, and it was a brand that gained a great deal of attention, but because the master brewer of the brewery died when he was young, it was once a "rare brew". Now, the wife of the previous master brewer has taken over the brewery's business, and Ryujinmaru has been revived. This "Satohana" was brewed to commemorate Mrs. Toji's appointment as Toji.
There is a strong aroma of rice.
The mouthfeel is soft. The sweetness is moderate, but there is a hint of sweetness and acidity. It is 18% alcohol by volume, but the alcohol content is not that strong and it is relatively easy to drink.
It was delicious with depth of flavor.
It tasted different from the drinks I've been drinking lately, but it's also good. This is why sake is so interesting.
