Warehouse Review 70 I bought Kurosawa's light nigori draft again this year, as I did last year! I was looking forward to drinking it again this year because I was so impressed with the value for money when I drank it last year. The schwash was unexpectedly strong, and when I opened the bottle, it spilled out. I thought it was bad and closed the cork, but just in time. LOL! The aroma has a hint of acidity that is typical of a sake yeast yeast yeast. It also has an impression of apples. When you drink it, the rich cider-like flavor comes in a rush, and after the sweetness and acidity are intertwined, the bitterness comes in strong at the end and slowly fades away with the alcohol feeling. It is a wonderful sake with a dizzying array of complex flavors, which is one of the best aspects of the sake brewing process. Although the sake is quite strong, it has no unpleasant characteristics and has an abe-like atmosphere. It is sweet and sour and delicious! But it has enough depth and strength to make it more than that. It is flashy but strong, so I think it is suitable for a mealtime drink. I wonder if it would go well with something with a strong flavor. I paired it with Tororo Natto Kimchi Mazesoba, and it was surprisingly good!

This is Kurosawa Sake Brewery, which is becoming my favorite. It is made entirely(???) The sake is made from the same sake yeast as the one used to make it, which gives the impression of a strong yet soft sake. This is a PB from Kawagoe Kadoya Sake Brewery. I went there at the end of summer and it was the last bottle! I'm so glad I got it! In a word, "Low alcohol boom, what are you doing? This is the first time I've had a Kurosawa with a rice polishing ratio higher than Junmai Ginjo. When I smelled it, the gentle ginjo aroma was very just right for me. I like this level of aroma because it is the most elegant. It has a vigorous and powerful aroma, and together with the alcohol content of 17%, it is a strong sake that is typical of Kurosawa. The freshness of the sake, which is typical of the tankoba-zume process, gives it an energetic mouthfeel. The tangy texture on the tongue is delicious. This sake is amazing because it is more than just powerful. It is a sweet sake, but the sweetness assists the umami and is a part of the whole package, so it is not too sweet and can be used as a food sake. The overall mildness and balance of this distinctive yet well-balanced sake is wonderful! Kurosawa is a powerful sake that defies the low alcohol boom and is extremely tasty, so keep checking back!

This sake is only available at Kurosawa Sake Brewery's special distributor that I visited in GW. You can buy the brands Izutsunaga and Maruto at the brewery, and at least the Maruto I sipped was very good sake. How about Kurosawa? It is lightly cloudy, but I poured it without mixing. It is a cloudy pale yellow color with some cloudiness. You can see bubbles in it. The aroma is grapey, or rather wine-like. At room temperature, there is a slightly fermented aroma. The effervescence and aroma give it a champagne-like attack. When the tailings are mixed, the sweetness is moderate, but the umami is very strong, and it is the one that seems to be sweet because it insists until the aftertaste. The bitterness does some work in the middle. The aroma that comes later is grain-like, so it is not wine-like at all. It's not fair that the acidity makes it so refreshing, even though it feels like you're drinking wine! When drunk casually, it seems like a muddy sake, but when drunk properly, the detailed characteristics stand out and it's a lot of fun to drink! Recently I have been drinking sake with a strong ginjo aroma, but I prefer less flashy sake with a low or highly polished rice content, so this early summer evening I was deeply satisfied with the taste.
