Today we are visiting Nagaoka, Niigata's second largest city. We enjoyed Nagaoka's local sake at the first meeting, but first, this bottle at the second meeting. This is the blue label I had hoped to encounter. This freshness in a fire-roasted sake is indeed hiragana takachiyo.
It had a nice sweetness, I guess you would call it dry.
Since I drank quite a bit of it, I couldn't really taste the rumored grapefruitiness. But I guess the acid bitterness is.
Ah, here it is, the beginning of the Nigorinpik!
