I was surprised at the number of sake pairings that go well with yokan, especially brown sugar!
The best pairing this time was also brown sugar yokan with heated Kuramatsu Kenbishi Mizuho sake!
When paired together, it felt like a warm sweet tea!
Overall, the light sweets tended to be paired with light sweetness, while the strong sweets tended to be paired with strong sweetness and flavor.
Above all, the Japanese sweets were delicious 🥰.

Hi Pon-chan ☺️
I once thought it would go surprisingly well with sweet bean paste sweets to mask the bitterness, but I think it would go well with something like kenrishii 🤗.

Hello, Matsuchiyo-san 🐦.
I'm so glad you've already tried it! You've already tried it 😆👍When I ate yokan and drank some heated Kenrishi, "Ho!" came out naturally 🤣Wagashi is also an option...

Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
The pairing of Japanese sweets and sake is moderately nice 😀.
I wanted to go to this event with my wife, but I couldn't because I had to work on a three-day weekend 😢.
I would love to attend the next one if there is one 😀.

Good evening, Yasube-san 🦉.
I heard that Tsuruya-san is a regular customer of the store and made it happen😊 so maybe he will do it again...it's interesting how sweets can make a slightly difficult drink easier to drink! I think I'll try it at home too🎶.

Good evening, Pon 🌛.
I see you attended this event 😁.
I've been curious about this pairing since I read a special feature on Sake and Japanese sweets in a book, and I thought it would be cold sake, but [yokan and hot sake] was an eye-opener and I'm going to try it ✨.

Good evening, Pon-chan 😃😃
When I drank kenrishi at home before, I thought it would go well with vanilla ice cream 🍨, so I agree that it goes well with sweets, but yokan and hot sake is a surprise 😳

Hello, Attached Mourning God 🐦.
I felt that sweet and dark tasting liquor would go well with dark tasting sweets 😊Please don't if it doesn't taste good 💦.

Hi Jive 🐦.
I thought I might be able to grab something if I had a few more sweets 😅The warmed sake seems to go well with the whole thing. The yu~ho. The person who had us warm up the sake also said it matched and tasted great 😊.

Hi Pon 😁.
The Japanese sweets look delicious first of all 😋 It is quite an interesting event. I had Nozomu and Yokan at a previous Takashimaya event and found them delicious.
