Yesterday was the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival in Osaka🎇.
Since it was a special occasion, we toasted with sake released by Hanakoh Sake Brewery in connection with the river festival!
At a quick glance, it is the same as the regular Homasu Go Nojo sake, and if you miss the description on the back etiquette, you can't tell the difference.
According to the brewer, the high acidity produced by the natural lactic acid bacteria, the complex flavor of the Homasu sake, and the depth of the sake's natural yeast stock combine to create a refreshing and rich flavor.
It seems that the lactic acid bacteria with the brewery did its best and has an acidity of 3.8.
It is named "Kawamatsuri" after an agricultural ritual to pray for no shortage of water in the rice fields.
It has a pale yellow-green appearance.
It has a vigorous gassy taste and is shriveled and refreshing.
The sweet aroma of pears, Japanese pears, and white peaches is pleasantly mingled with the noble aroma of wooden vats and yogurt.
A fresh citrus-like aroma is mixed in there, making it even more refreshing.
First, there is a lively gasiness and a pear-like sweetness.
Soon the acidity rises and spreads, making it refreshing.
At the same time, complex flavors including umami and bitterness emerge, with nuances of the white peel of Japanese citrus fruits such as Banshakuyuzu.
On the back palate, the sweetness and acidity are balanced out by a gassy, slightly dry finish.
The finish is medium.
This is not a lemon squash summer sake with a lot of acidity, but rather a sansudo.
I still love San-do 😊.

Hi Aladdin 😀
You have opened a nice bottle of sake for the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival 😇.
I moved to a new apartment last fall and now I can see the fireworks in the distance from my new apartment, so I watched them from my room with a glass of sake in my hand😇.

Hi Yasbay 😃.
I couldn't buy summer sake this year, so I opened a bottle of our almost only summer sake just in time for the fireworks 😄.
It's intoxicating to be able to see the fireworks from my house and watch them while drinking sake without worrying about heat stroke 😊.

Hi T.KISO 😃
As you said, fireworks and sundries were the perfect pairing 😊.
If I had a little more photography skills, I think I could have captured the fireworks and the bottle of sansho beautifully, that's my only regret 😅.

Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Just drinking your favorite alcohol is enough to make you happy, but if you accompany it with a beautiful and tasteful view, there's nothing more to say 😊.
I can't wait to see what kind of alcohol J&N will be enjoying with the fireworks 😄.

Good evening, Pon 😃.
Unfortunately not every year 😅 this year I enjoyed my own version of the river festival with the Yodogawa fireworks 🎆🍶😊.
Drinking sake while watching them twinkling and disappearing one after another in the night sky was gorgeous and fleeting, it felt like summer in Japan 😊.

Good morning, Tsubu 😃.
I drank it because I wanted to match fireworks with a gassy sake 😄.
I drank the rest yesterday and the bubbles were calmer and sweeter than the first day, and the acidity was more stimulating and dry 😊.
