Today, I went to my wife's parents' home 🚙 with a souvenir from our trip to Toyama.
It's been a while since we last saw each other, but both my parents-in-law seemed to be in good health and we talked a lot.
Now that our trip to Toyama is over, we are back to our daily lives. I'm feeling a little tired from the trip, so I'm going to have a drink with them again today.
Today, I had a sake from a brewery that I had wanted to try for a long time.
Mutsu Hachisen by Hachinohe Shuzo.
My first drink was an orange label Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi.
I met this sake at Yamanaka Sake no Honten.
This will be the last hiyaoroshi I will drink at home.
So, let's drink it right away.
First, the aroma. The aroma is somewhat strong, but it is hard to describe, but it is a good aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it starts with a complex taste, then a bitter taste. Then the spiciness spreads in your mouth.
After that, there is a gradation of sweet and salty tastes.
The aftertaste is again bitter and pungent, and the balance is very good.
When the temperature rises a little, the bitterness and pungency subside a little, and a slight sweetness comes to the fore.
Of course, this sake is also very tasty with a meal.
The more you drink this sake, the more you will feel a different balance of tastes, and you will not be able to stop drinking.

Good morning, ma-ki-, good morning ☀☀ first time! Congratulations 🎉😆 Orange label, it has a bitter pungent taste. I also had the impression that it has a complex taste. The green label was more fruity and delicious, so please try the green label too: ❣️

Good evening, ma-ki-chan 🌛.
Congratulations on your first "Mutsu Hachisen" 🎉!
I am curious to see what you think of Mutsuhatsusen as I have not yet had a taste of it myself due to the popularity of Toyobai and Tasake among Aomori sake 😁.
