Today, after my wife and I went for a haircut, we had a dinner party at her parents' house with her childhood friend's family!
My wife's parents don't drink alcohol and my wife drinks sours, so I was the only sake drinker.
So today, I brought a bottle of sake to my wife's parents' house for the first time.
This time it was a blue bottle!

The first day
First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel umami, and then sweetness and spiciness.
The mouthfeel is very smooth and clean.
The lingering aftertaste is a mixture of sweetness, spiciness, and bitterness, and it is very delicious.
I have the impression that the sweetness is stronger than the Hitakami I have had in the past.
I like it very much!
The second day
Today, too, the umami comes in with a bang, and the spiciness extends quickly.
After that, the complex flavors of sweetness, saltiness, and richness linger on the palate, and the freshness that spreads in the mouth is unforgettable!
And when served with a meal, it has a rich umami and bitterness...yummy!
My mother-in-law always makes delicious rice with sashimi, vinegared, simmered, and fried dishes, and it goes great with sake! It was a blissful sake time with pleasant conversation!
