On such a day, we celebrated with Kinmame ㊗ This time it was a Junmai Daiginjo of Kinmonnishiki. I was very nervous because it was my first time. The aroma was the usual Kamerei-like apple. The aroma is the usual Kamerei-like apple, with a peachy fruity note. When you drink it, it is full of sweetness and slightly carbonated. Then the richness or umami comes in a big rush, followed by a moderate acidity and a sharp cut at the end. It is a very beautiful sake. It also has elegance at the end. The difference between this sake and Junmai Ginjo is that Junmai Ginjo does not have the initial complexity that I felt in Junmai Ginjo, but is full of umami. It is truly a refined sake. It is deeply delicious. It is really delicious.
My grandma also likes sake, and even now she sometimes drinks nigori sake. Today, she took a sip and said, "It's sweet and delicious! I am glad she thought it was delicious. And my relatives who don't usually drink sake praised it. I'm glad.
In any case, I am glad that Grandma is happy. I hope she continues to live long.
