Last Saturday
I went to the field day of my son, a second grader who lives apart from me for some reason.
I bought a cup of sake at a convenience store near the school.
We got there an hour before.
There were still few other parents there and I got a good position overlooking the field from the parking lot 🙌.
I sneakily watched the game from behind a blade of grass 👀.
I hope I'll be out of sake by the time the field day is over 🤗.

He seemed to be enjoying himself and getting along well with the other kids around him, running in the representative relay, ad-libbing a dance while shaking his butt toward the headquarters, and getting a lot of laughs.
It was my son's second year at the athletic meet since he started working outside of the prefecture.
This is a cup of sake with a design of the famous "Karatsu Kunchi" festival in Karatsu, Saga.
It has a strong flavor and a moderate sweetness, so it's easy to pair it with a meal.
It is also a good souvenir of Karatsu because of its cool design 👍️.
