OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 20249 bouken-san wanted to try it, so we went back to the Yomiuri Shimbun booth booth and had a second glass of Asao. The first Asao Sakura was already sold out. Asao 23BY It had an acceptable level of maturity in my opinion, but it didn't leave much of an impression... Except for the first sake I drank, all the others were matured sake.

OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024①. I went to the "OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024" held at Ogimachi Park, where I could drink sake from a variety of unknown breweries. Since it was a ticket system, I had to think about what I was going to taste... but it turned out to be a good deal, as many of the more expensive sakes were only 200 yen per ticket 😁. Not many breweries were there, which was a bit disappointing. First up was the Yomiuri Shimbun booth, and for the first time, the Hasamaya Sake Brewery. Founded in 1757, in the middle of the Edo period, it is one of the smallest breweries in Japan. It is related to the female poet Asao Hara and actor Bunta Sugawara by blood. The 12th head of the brewery is a musician, Kaori Kano, who had hits with "2:00 a.m. Angel" and "Aoi Chikyu wa Te no Hira. Keisen Asao no Sakura Junmai Daiginjyo Light Nigori Nama-nihanzake Lactic acid taste from a shwashy acidity. It is a little tangy, but the acidity tightens up and the lingering tingling sensation on the tongue persists. It is very refreshing. It's refreshing but tasty.

OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024⑦ First visit to Hasamaya Sake Brewery The brewery is the family home of singer/songwriter Kaori Kano, who herself is the head brewer. It is a revived brewery that resumed its own brewing after many years of consignment brewing. The sake is quite matured and a little bit bitter. It seems that a different sake with the same label was also aged for a long time. They were sold out by the time I arrived, but Nemuchi-san said the raw sake was delicious.
