Kawatake Brewery, Mie Prefecture, which produces Hokosugi The first prototype of a new brand under development. Special Honjozo Unfiltered Nama Sake TENWEI is the first, SHUKUREU is the second, and FESTIVAL is the third, apparently. I think it was a modern type of sake with a pineapple-like sweetness. The aftertaste was delicious, with a bitterness or a firm umami flavor! I wonder if they are aiming for a kind of sake that goes well with meals? Also, it is cheap! I drank it more than a month ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. If I have a chance, I'll drink the third one! I mean, I've never had Hokosugi either! Totally unrelated, but I can't read the white letters on the clear bottle! Even with the naked eye it's hard to read, but I gave up on taking pictures!
