It is refreshing but has a punch, so I would rather drink it slowly after my stomach has settled rather than pair it with food. As stated in the description, this sake is easy to drink with a crisp spiciness that lingers slightly on the tongue despite its gorgeousness.
We drank it with sashimi of mackerel with sesame sauce and cooked yuba, but it never interferes with the food. It's not too much, but it's not too little, so you can drink it easily. It's also good that it's cheap as it seems to be a limited edition.
