Mellow aroma like whiskey with a hint of sweetness. It has a rich, mushroom-like overtone. The taste also has a Western-style sake feel, with a rich flavor and a mellow mushroom-like flavor. The color of the bottle made me think it would be lighter, but I was pleasantly surprised by its rich, umami, and robust flavor.
