July 7. The first cicadas were heard this morning!
This is the third sake I bought at the Kyoto Takashimaya Sake Festival. When I tasted it, I liked the pineapple-like aroma, the round mouthfeel, and the balance between the umami of the rice and the mouthwatering acidity, so I bought a bottle. It is a popular Omachi rice. When I asked the person in charge, "This is the first time I have seen you in Kansai," he replied, "I don't have much time to spare..." He was a quiet and serious person. He seemed quiet and serious, so I thought, "I would like to meet him again.
This brewery is located in Kurashiki, famous for the Bikan Historical Quarter, and also brewed under the brand name of "Ishichi".
