Went to Kyoto to attend my wife's Hatsumode (New Year's visit to Kyoto). We went to Gohage Shrine, a sacred place for my wife who works as a hairdresser and beautician, and then went to Shijo Kawaramachi for lunch. We had a lunchtime mini kaiseki course at Saiseki Chimoto, a restaurant we had been curious about beforehand 🍶. Kinshi Masamune Arabusha. A faint aroma of rice flavor, a clean taste on the palate, a sharp rice aroma and a slight bitterness on the nose. Sashimi and the restaurant's specialty "Tamago Hourakuyaki" were served. The sashimi was good, but the Tamago Hourakuyaki was delicious with the slightly sweet broth of the egg omelet 😋. I'm getting a little tipsy now, so I'm going to go get another 🤣.

Good evening, Mr. Gyves. I see you were in Kyoto 😁. I've never heard of Gohage Shrine ⛩️ 😰 I searched for it and found it in the bamboo forest in Arashiyama! Kyoto's sake Kinshi Masamune 👌

Good morning, Ao-chan! I'll be visiting Kyoto again at the end of this month for another day trip for my own personal first visit 😁. I'm thinking of going a little more serious about my sake life then 🤣. I ordered the Fushimi sake as I thought I couldn't miss it when I come to Kyoto!
