A series of drinks my dad used to drink at home.
The first brand I ever saw was from Kitashika in Akita.
Kitashika is a cheap daiginjo sake.
This is a regular sake with added sugar, acidifiers, etc.
The aroma is mildly sweet and fragrant.
The alcohol comes first, followed by a slight sweetness.
The acidity is well balanced, making it drinkable.
There is no heavy aftertaste, and the taste is refreshing.
It gets boring after drinking it for a long time,
I think it's a good sake with a good sensation.
Serve with chilled tofu or tempura wild vegetables.
