The sweetness spreads and flows smoothly with a hint of alcohol. Perhaps because it is 19%, there is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. This was the first sake I drank after arriving at my parents' house in Nagasaki. A friend of my parents went to the Umegae Sake Brewery and bought it for me 🚗. It is rare to drink sake in the Kansai region, so it was nice to have the "feeling of coming home" 🏠.

On the way back from visiting Huistenbosch in Nagasaki, I stopped by the Umegae Sake Brewery and bought it. I had it again later. I had the impression that the junmai sake was a little astringent, but this one was delicious with a sweet aroma and just the right amount of sweetness. I had the impression that the richness of junmai sake had a sweetness added to it. I would like to drink it again.

Outside drinking. Gorgeous aroma and clean texture on the tongue. The dryness of the wine gradually emerges.

Umegae Sake Brewery: The sake brewery that makes souvenir sake for Huis Ten Bosch. Looks better than the souvenir sake 😂.

Dear Honda of the world, thank you for your hard work. I was thinking about your review, honda-sama. I drank it before seeing your review, so I didn't know it was a souvenir drink...

Umegae Junmai Ginjo 60% 15 degrees 720ml 1628yen A hometown tax return gift. The Junmai was quite good, but the Junmai Ginjo? The first sip of the bottle. Oh, it still tastes nice and calm. This junmai ginjo is made with "a sweet yeast that Toji likes. It's not flashy, but I wonder what kind of yeast it is. The tank-shibori process shows the care and attention to detail of the flavor. As I continued to drink it, it had a slightly richer sweetness than the Junmai. If you are drinking it with food, I prefer the Junmai because it is more refreshing. I checked the price and the Junmai Ginjo 60% polished is 1628 yen. Junmai 65% polished is 1120 yen! If that's the case, Junmai is definitely the way to go. I found out about Umegae Shuzo only by paying taxes in my hometown. I'll have to go to Sasebo sometime. Rating 4.0 (out of 5.0) 20211220
