Purchased in Nagasaki City during a trip to Kyushu.
I bought three bottles of Nagasaki sake in Nagasaki City, but this one was purchased without preliminary investigation.
The mouthfeel is smooth, smooth and mellow.
It has a sweetness like white sugar 🍶.
We had it with oden and some senmaizuke pickles that my younger colleague bought for me as a gift from Kyoto 😊.

Umegae reminds me of the 🫢Umegae mochi at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, which was very tasty and surprising 🤔 I wonder if this is related to it.

I also thought it was Fukuoka when I first saw it😅.
The sake brewery is in Sasebo, so I'm not sure of the connection, but the Umekegae mochi comes from an anecdote about Sugawara Michizane.
Of course it doesn't taste like plum nor rice cake 🫡.
