Family O Sado Aikawa <Private brand sake of JR East Hotels>. A collaboration project with Obata Shuzo of Manotsuru.
The blue bottle is beautiful. It seems to be inspired by the sea of Sado.
It has a nice faint aroma, a smooth mouthfeel, a mild sweetness, a clean dry taste, and is easy to drink.
The atmosphere is quite Manotsuru.
It was introduced as being limited to Niigata, but in this day and age you can buy it on Amazon.
I want to go to Sado.
This is the sake served at the Niigata station Ponshu-kan.
