Producer: Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture. Kitanoseki Sake Brewery Co.
Distributor: Niigata Pref. Nagaoka City. Suminoi Sake Brewery Co.
Suminoi Junmai Daiginjo.
I bought it because it was discounted at Aeon3㌥.
I checked the Internet and found that Suminoi Sake Brewery is no longer in business and is now under the umbrella of a Thai company group with a Japanese director, who only makes mirin (sweet sake).
I wonder if they outsource the sake to Kitanoseki Brewery.
This is also Tochigi love 💕🤗?
I will have it with cold sake.
The top aroma is mild, but it has a slight ripe apple and caramel-like flavor.
The color is a yellowish hue, which is quite discernible.
The mouthfeel is a bit thick, with hints of ripeness.
When the temperature rises a little more than when it is cold right out of the refrigerator, the mature, concentrated flavor, almondiness, and nuttiness can be felt.
The aroma that passes through the nose has a matured aroma, and I wonder if it is because it is kept on the shelf at room temperature in the supermarket, so it has matured.
I can't tell if it's aged or orthodox.
