It is indeed smooth on the palate and easy to drink for a junmai sake. It has a faintly rich aroma, and can be paired with red and white fish sashimi, nabemono, cheese, or anything else without getting in the way. The design, including the flat polishing of the rice, must have been very precise. It's best served warm, but the label says to serve it at a higher temperature. The label says to heat it up to a higher temperature, perhaps to encourage people who don't like the sensation of heated sake coming through the nose.
