Hirotogawa nigori is said to be one of the three best nigori. I was able to buy it at the right time, so I thought, "This is it! I bought it immediately. Since I bought it by mail order, I waited excitedly and drank it on New Year's Day.
The aroma is a bit of pear and muscat. The mouthfeel is gassy and tangy. It is as carbonated as those sparkling wines. It is very delicious. After taking it into the mouth, it has a sweet and delicious taste. Personally, however, it was not as sweet as I thought it would be. It was not sweet, but I could feel the sweetness of sake. It also has a carbonated taste, so it is refreshing. There is almost no alcohol in the can. lol The bitterness in the aftertaste is also great. I didn't know there was such a pleasant bitterness! I want to drink this again. I want to drink this again. I think I will buy a bottle next year... lol.
