Masumi's White Original Sake @ Toriumai
It's so cool and refreshing, yet darker than the one I just had, and very tasty.
Masumi is very sweet, apparently 12%, but I can drink it easily.
It's a Suwa!
Aroma of apples, pink flowers, and a little bit of stems. It has a long aftertaste, or rather, various aromas are lingering in the mouth. The taste is very sweet. It lingers on the tongue. It might be a winner with a sweet and spicy sauce. I would like to pair it with eel or mackerel simmered in miso.
(1) Junmai Daiginjo, not white, but a little yellow, orange or pinkish with a floral aroma, tastes sweet - sweeter than (3).
(2) Hiyoroshi (hiya oroshi): A slight burning sensation at first. It also has a slightly stemmy aroma. The taste is unexpectedly sweet. It also has a sour taste. It tastes a little minty.
(3) Sankei-Nishiki: Apple aroma 🍎 Sweetness is also apple-like 🫶.
(1) One summer, clean aroma. Cucumber or flower? Taste is also clear.
2) Nisatsu: Aroma is a bit like whiskey. Is it butter or oak? It tastes rich. (2) It's the same in degree as (1), but...
It is the most expensive one. Is it inspired by the flowers of Yatsugatake? The aroma is mild and the taste is sweet.
White.
It smells a little like shoes! (???) Basically beautiful. The taste is mainly sweet. It may be a little bit more savory than "Reijin" and "Maihime". I like that too.
It's something more refreshing than a woman's tearjerker. The afterglow is short.
Citrus aroma and taste lol.
Clear acidity. Pulling sweetness too. Grapefruitiness!
