Masamune hunters go today🍶.
The only place I could find Yonekawa Masamune for sale was at the sake brewery or a liquor store nearby😅.
The brewery is closed irregularly, but the liquor store seems to be open so I decided to go there 🤗.
We arrived at Takazawa Sake Brewery.
I put my hand on the door and it rattled open 😁.
But there is no clerk 🙄.
And they have Masamune but it's in one bottle😅.
I decided to ask if they have Shogou bottles.

...shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

...no reply at all😑.
I expected a regular holiday, but I didn't expect to be left alone😇
We had no choice but to head to the nearby liquor store "Takazawa Sake Shop" 🚶.
This time the clerk was there 👀.
Hiro "Do you have any Yonekawa Masamune?"
Clerk "Yes we have it😄".
I knew it was a bottle. Yes, I'll buy it 😑.
It's better than being left alone 😇.
It's sake 🍶.
It's a light sweetness with a touch of sugar 😚.
No bitterness or astringency 🤔.
There is a tangy sensation on the tongue, but I wonder if it's due to the alcohol addition 🤔.
In this day and age it would be classic, but a long time ago it would have been called modern 😊.

I recently found out about it myself. My dad at Takazawa Sake Shop told me that Yonekawa Masamune used to be their main brand.
Most of my sake life is driven by my passion for Masamune 🤣.
