I had a three-day weekend from the 21st of last year in lieu of the New Year's holiday, so I thought I would finally be able to relax and drink, but my wife had a fever😷 and I had to scramble to take care of the kids for three days.
I was so busy taking care of the kids that the three days were over 😫.
I haven't had a proper rest since early last spring 🤣.
My original plan was to go to Kyoto for Hatsumode on the last day, but I cancelled that too!
I'm at my physical and mental limit💦.
So, I opened a bottle on the first day of the holiday and had a drink 🍶.
Yamazan Junmai Daiginjo Kinmon-Nishiki Sanwari Gofubun Unfiltered Genshu.
I opened the drunk one I had left for New Year's!

The aroma is crisp and tasty like green apple, the mouthfeel is slightly gassy, but the impact of the flavor and the sweetness behind the flavor is so strong that it seems to rise to the top, and the pleasantly long aftertaste and the bitterness on the tongue and sweet aroma through the nose linger at the end.

A clean, clear, sweet rice aroma, a slight gassy mouthfeel, and a clean, penetrating umami sweetness that finishes with a pleasantly long aftertaste and an apple-like aroma that escapes through the nose, and finally a bitterness that is felt at the back of the throat.

For the entrée, I served Akiyoshi's Yakitori with hot water, and I personally think Yamazan goes well with meat 😁.
