Kihoturu「月夜のキホーツル 純米吟醸 無濾過生」
ジャイヴ
April 28th is the new moon of April🌑 and the night of the first cycle reset.
Even if there is no moon in the night sky, as long as there is a moon on the label, you can have all the moon-viewing sake you want, so open a bottle of moonshine tonight and enjoy 🌑🍶🌑🍶.
Kihotsuru Moonlit Kihotsuru Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama
I fell in love with the label at first sight and got it at Liquor Shop Okayama in Kyoto, just like the Kangiku Jukinmu I opened the other day ✨.
[Gugumi-nomi.]
Fruity and sweet rice aroma, juicy and juicy sweet umami, then a full lingering taste, then a sharp pineapple-like acidity, and finally a bitter taste in the throat and a minerality that lingers on the palate.
[Mokkiri.]
A clear, fruity rice aroma, a slight gassy feeling on the palate, followed by a fresh umami sweetness, a pineapple-like acidity, a sharp finish, and finally, a bitter taste in the throat and a mineral taste that is quite firm.
The selection of entrée was a difficult one, as the "kamikurage" written on the label announces the arrival of spring when the sea water temperature rises.
Sea bream, also called "sakura-tai" (cherry sea bream), which comes in early spring, has a strong flavor and went well with the dish!

The 4th one is the new product "Ichiban Shibori WHITE".
Since it was labeled as a white beer, I thought it would be like a [Weissbier] using more than 50% wheat malt, but the main ingredient is barley malt 😅.
Not bad with a refreshing bitter taste 🍺.

Hello, Gyve!
I'm so glad that you chose sea bream as your entrée, because it is the spring connection from the kamikurage!
I think it would lose out if the sashimi is light, but if it has a strong flavor, it would be a good match 😍.

Hi HinaHanaMama!
Actually, the last time I drank "Moon after rain" is also a tsukimi sake, but I forgot to mention it in my review 🤣.
The jellyfish label is so cute ✨.
The local snapper was fresh and went very well with the sake 🥰.

Hi Maru-san!
I was originally going to pair it with kikurage no tsukudani, but I forgot to order it in time, so I had to go to the fish store and make a quick trip to the right place 🤣.
I had a hard time deciding which one to go with because there was also a drunken horse mackerel on the menu that day✨.

Hello Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀!
I see you went to a hot spring ryokan ♨️ and the starry sky from the outdoor bath is also intoxicating 🌠.
[As a Sapporo Beer lover, I'd like to recommend Sorachi 1984, but I'd have to go with Ichiban Shibori for versatility ✨.

Hi Gyve 🐦🐦.
You drank it 😆👍👍Yes, the bitterness at the end is very spring-like 😊It's a great thing that Mr. Gyve is able to match the spring-like snacks 👍✨.

Hi Pon, ☀☀☀☀☀☀.
The aftertaste reminded me of the fresh bitter taste of spring wild vegetables 🥰.
Sometimes when I go out to buy entrées, I look up what the seasonal greens are on the internet while I buy them and reason it out afterwards though 🤣.
