Hiroshima Trip Day 2
On this day, we started from Miyajima in the morning and went to Iwakuni in the afternoon.
We were overwhelmed by the number of tourists at Miyajima, but we enjoyed fried oyster skewers and fried momiji (deep-fried maple leaves), and tucked into conger eel rice.
In Iwakuni, I wanted to visit the Okura-san in Itsuhashi, but it was too late and I had to give up.
After seeing Iwakuni Castle, we headed back to Hiroshima.
After seeing Iwakuni Castle, we went to Hiroshima and had a drink at Ame-go-no-tsuki.
It's not too strong and easy to drink, so it's easy to understand why it's so popular!
It tastes even better with food. ❣️
The dishes included fried oysters again, deep-fried conger eel, and seared Hiroshima beef kone with ponzu sauce!
Beef kone is a shoulder of beef.

I too am a big fan of the moon after rain when it comes to Hiroshima 👍.
I remember being surprised at how delicious the sake was, even though I didn't have an image of Hiroshima as a place to drink sake.
I have some connection with Hiroshima, so I want to go there again 👜.

I went to Miyajima early in the morning on a weekday, so Miyajima-guchi was better 😊I was worried if I could catch the ferry back 😳 so many tourists.
