At a izakaya in Shizuoka, â
We were hungry and tired, so we went to a restaurant close to where we were staying anyway!
There were only two types of sake, and neither of them was Shizuoka sake 🤣!
We had this one, which we hadn't had in a very long time!
The rice flavor and slight acidity make it easy to drink!
It was delicious with Shizuoka oden and fried black pepper 😊.

I was actually born and raised in Shizuoka Prefecture during junior high school, high school and college, but 40 years ago, I was not aware that oden and gyoza were specialties.

I often go to the shrine and when I see the sake offerings, I always think "God likes sake too ❣️" 🤭.

I've never seen them breaded and fried so well, I was surprised too 😆 I prefer finer breadcrumbs, but this is 👍.
